Murica 405th: Special Weapons and Announcement

Oh lordy. Time has gotten away from me and I had not the time to post anything but with snow falling in Maryland here, it is time that I do some catching up.
I had not the finances to spend towards the 405th project so that means I hope to begin next month but I truly have no idea when. With that, lets continue.
I plan on every squad being well equipped to deal with any threat and grenade launchers to me are excellent in dealing with infantry. Although I cannot say this for Warhammer 40000 since I have played so few games. Fewer as the Imperial Guard; Astra Militarum for you young blood out there! Anyway, here is a link. http://anvilindustry.co.uk/gl-32

I may use this tripod or not when it comes time to the heavy weapons. It will depend on how many spares I will have that are not being used for the Albion Grenadier Guards and my brothers Wusterweld Grenadiers.

Of course it goes without saying that since I am making a modern themed IG/ AS army that its ATGMs should match and Anvil has a wonderful solution. http://anvilindustry.co.uk/regiments-javelin-missile-launcher-conversion-set
Still unknown if I plan on getting these hefty "grenade launchers" or not but they sure do look like a nice alternative. http://anvilindustry.co.uk/regiments-heavy-grenade-launcher-heavy-weapon
There is no doubt in my mind that I will be getting these auto-cannons. I jus love how modern they look. http://anvilindustry.co.uk/regiments-autocannon-heavy-support-weapon
Of course not all squads will have these sniper rifles. These will go only with my planned veteran squads.

Ooooh. Something that tis not from Anvil Industry! These come in a pack of 6 and are already designated for my Special Weapons teams. Yeah, can't go wrong with a bunch of campers; I mean highly trained killing machines. https://maxmini.eu/sniper-rifles-MK2-bits
When in doubt; more dakka. Unfortunately, Warhammer 40k does not have SAW options unless it is a heavy bolter but there are plenty of other rules that allows this. I think. https://madrobotminiatures.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9_12&products_id=113
And that is that. As usual, here is the link to my page The Officer Factory for q's and a's.

Future Projects: Hex Foam Terrain: Alternate Russo-Georgian War 2007

Well, this is gonna be something.      I recently found myself involved in a sub-genre of miniature wargaming called Micro Armour or...
