Albion Grenadier Guards: Salamander

This little project I am most proud of. I took a 1/48 scale Tamiya made Universal Carrier Mk. II and war hammered it.
The beginnings of this tiny build. The 2 crews are modified Sentinel pilots.

A scale comparison shot. Yes. This thing is little and I like it like that. The idea is for it to scout and since this is smaller; WAY SMALLER than a Chimera hull, it fits the purpose of being a scout.

Now to fill it out. I added arms, weapons and a radio antenna to finish it.

I scrounged what I could find in our spare bits containers and I think it turned out well. The female crew members head is from Statuesque Miniatures.

Ammo is just resting in there and not the final positioning.

And now for scale comparisons. Left to right: The Victoria Miniatures Matilda, Games Workshop Space Marine Razorback "Iron Duke" and our Salamander. Ain't it cute.

And painted up. These photos don't due it justice and additional changes may still be made.

And that is that for our first Salamander. A Second has been bought and just awaiting the time to be built and converted.
