Well, after 3 weeks, I can finally post an update. This update covers a lot so here we go.
During building, I had ran out of "normal" heads. So I placed an order for Statuesque for their female heroic scale heads as well as gathered their heads from a previous order and well, here ya go. Lots of heads to choose from.I found the following to be the best way for me to glue metal onto plastic.
Walther's Goo is a fantastic oozy stuff and a little bit as seen goes a long way. I put a dab in the hole where the head goes into and then a dab of super glue onto the head and place into slot.
Give it time and it will dry quite solid.
Alternatively, applying goo onto the head and super glue onto the torso works well.
And here we go, the last of the sisters done.
It is not easily seen here but some of the gun components went Tamiya gunmetal.
A better pic of what went gunmetal.
And I went through my spare guns and glued on magazines to their bolters.
Per my usual standards, grenades went olive drab. Not pictured here though, the grenade spins went gunmetal.
Now comes the hard part! The decorations on the armor went brass. Very shiny.
Even the tabards backside went brass.
The purity seals went red. Duh; how else are they gonna go?
Now back to the backpacks. Some of the indicators or what I think are indicators went red and vents and ... mini reactor (?) went gunmetal.
And the purity seals went antique white. I cannot recall if I mention dit but the pages and the scroll went antique parchment.
Some buttons went black and the screen green on this auspex.
And the gun barrel of the melta-gun went a vallejo ... burnt jet nozzle? I can't recall what it is.
And now the armor is touched up. It needed it. As well as the boots.
And the blades went silver. Shiny.
And a mistake was made. I went ahead to get their skin tones on but realized their eyes were not done so that went on.
And that is that. These sisters are shaping up quite nicely and I am excited to be THIS close to having them done.
More bad weather is coming in to the area and I am not sure if I will be able to get a decent update for next week. We will see.
Per my usual ending, pease leave comments, criticisms and such either here or on my FB page over at The Officer Factory.
