Murica 405th PEF/ 36th PDF Update. (MAJOR!)

     And here we go. A week or 2 late. Sorry. Things have been a tad busy as of late with the weather warm and such. Anyway, this bad boy had came in after the first shipment somehow wound up in Paris, France and got lost. The company, Nuclear Shrimp Games, in Greece have sent me another one at their expense and it arrived. With that, it is time to do a proper review but first, instructions!

     The company had put their instructions on how to build their Bulldog MBT up on facebook. I wish they do what Dreamforge Games does and put their instructions up on the website.

     Anyway, here they are.

     Now, before I go into this beautiful tank, let me first show off the infantry that will work alongside this beauty.

     Also done is the sergeant and a Vox caster.

     Now back to the tank. After the LONG overdue tanka arrived and a hasty opening of the box that the kit came in, this is what greeted me. A tad boring white box but who cares when it has a tank in it!

     And the goodies. All of the baggies.

     I heard, if. I recall right, that this is what delayed the project some. They were suppose to be made from a flexible resin so the turret could rotate. Well, I have a plan.

     A kickstarter exclusive. Not the look I am after for my 405th PEF (Planetary Expedition Force)/ 36th PDF (Planetary Defence Force) but they are still neat looking. I may get more to have for dual purpose gaming.

     And this was unexpected. This poor guy has a pistol to his chin. Objectivist point! Rescue the poor guy!

     Now the tank herself. After a quick wash in warm, soapy water, I began cleaning and assembly. I would not call it a miscast bu the mold seemed to be on its last legs and portions were not quite aligned right. This only added the time to properly prepare her.

     The back side. I think I may need to put in some gap filler to hide the seams. Yet again, who will see them?

     The back entry hatch installed. This piece has a tight fit that I could not remove it. A really good fit.

     Now back to the top. The hatch is super easy to install.

     I skipped a few steps and decided to put on the sensors. These are a tad pain to do without some proper fore thinking. I used the images from the instructions and rivets to create guidelines where the sensors would go.

     The sponsons are not glued on. They are resting quite snuggly on the tank. I imagine with paint, they would fit more so.

     Now onto the turret. I think the mantlet was not made right cause the angled peg does not line up with the pegs that are on the turret. The angling of the turret pegs looked more natural so I used those and glued the mantlet onto them.

     Again, using the instructions as a reference and rivets, I glued on the smoke dischargers. Then I glued in the antenna and the Autocannon mount and the periscope. I should add that the Autocannon mount is not glued in. It is resting and it also a rather snug fit.
     It should count as an Autocannon. That thing is hefty. More on that alter.

     This pod, at least the mounting ring and the pod body were very badly aligned and it took some time to smoothen them out. The mount has a peg that goes into the ring but cause edit was misaligned during casting that I opted for magnets. Tiny 1/8x 1/16 magnets did the trick.

     And here is the Autocannon and flechette dischargers.

     The ammo box, hatch, commanders MG and commander. The commander and the hatch are not glued in.

     Now for the stowage rack. This is a simple piece to glue on.

     And done. What a beauty. It should be also noted that the main guns are using magnets as the pegs were also not made right and the guns would slide out.
     For Warhammer use, the Autocannon could count as a hull-mounted heavy Bolter. The tiny rocket launcher on the turret is for anti-personal use but the cluster of 6 could count as a hunter-killer. Hunter killers can't one shot kill heavy armor but it can do a number to light armor scout vehicles.
     The cupola machine-gun counts as a Storm Bolter as the main cannon could go either a battle cannon or a vanquisher.

     Now how about a plasma cannon.

     Oh! How about a demolisher cannon!

      Or a punisher cannon!

      As part of my kickstarter, I gotten this linear railgun that goes in place of the Autocannon. This could count as a hull-mounted lascannon.
